[P3] Final Render
[P3]
Final Render
Here I purposely chose a simple background because my models in itself are very detailed and I didn't want to distract the viewer nor take the attention away from the iterations. Here I used a chrome surface to give a reflection of my iterations to give further information on what shapes my iterations are (reflection gives it another 'angle'). The colours (green iterations & yellow surface) came from my precedents - I wanted to use natural colours (colours derived from my precedents) without overpowering my render.

[P3] Development Images
[P3]
Drawings
Pieces - Basic steps in developing my images
Used Solid Works to make flat shapes then imported and modified on 3DS Max.
(1) Imported my simple and different shapes from Solid Works - these shapes came from the inspiration of my precedents.
(4) Replicating the object - I had gone through the steps several times in order to get my 3 iterations
Experimenting Renders of 3 Digital Models
Photo of model in different environments
(4 Photo Shoots)
Used direct lighting - torch, with white surface
Black surface (non reflective)
Black reflective surface (different from the one above) also used lighting from a lamp in order to create environment

[P2] Development Images (Post 2) - Sketch Models
[P2]
Regarding the structure of my model, I experimented mostly between sectioning, slotting and/or tying my model together:
(1) Focused on the twisted effect that my 3DS Max model had:
(2) Twists on the side of the model and took the cross shape that my 3DS Max model would have if sectioned.
(4) I took the shape of my 3DS Max model but without its twist, it is tied around the edge to hold together also for part of the design in itself:

(1) Focused on the twisted effect that my 3DS Max model had:
(3) Here I applied the two points that my 3DS Max model has which go through the sectioned cuts:
(5) Kept the straight effect but added more sides which are slotted and tied together in the middle:
